  • Set foundations of content for an India-International mix with B2C leanings and B2B focus.
  • Networked with top international and national fashion brands across lifestyle categories for interviews, sourcing of products for shoots, etc
  • Liaised with Sportswear International's editorial headquarters for India/Asia-relevant inputs for stories, content plans, among other things.

  • The magazine, which lacked a professional outlook especially in terms of content, has now grown in stature and is looked up as the last word on the three sectors by industry captains. The dour-reading publication has been transformed into a highly readable and insightful periodical, something that now industry professionals look forward to reading.

Editorial Management functions for Shoes & Accessories, IMAGES BoF and Sportswear International India

  • Plan and produce the editorial content of the magazine by effective use of freelance contributors, in-house editing, art and production staff to ensure smooth processes
  • Identify experienced freelancers to contribute regularly to the title, negotiate rates and manage the titles’ budgets
  • Liaise with advertisement manager to decide on optimum size of each issue and maintaining healthy balance between ads and edit
  • Organise the editorial so that copy, pictures and stories flow continuously within deadlines
  • Work closely with art editors to finalise pictures, graphics, editorial layouts including photo shoots and selection of front covers for each issue
